Description
WHAT: Faculty Lead Study Abroad Course to the island of Bonaire, the scuba diving capital of the Caribbean. Expand your diving skills and experience the warm, clear waters of the Caribbean while earning your Master Scuba Diver certification (the highest rating possible for recreational divers). During the course, you’ll receive the following certifications: Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Equipment Specialist, Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver and Master Scuba Diver.

WHERE: Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. Located just north of Venezuela, Bonaire is part of the “ABC” islands consisting of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. The island enjoys a year round air temperature of approximately 80 degrees with water temps ranging from 78-86 degrees. In addition to world class scuba diving, Bonaire is also a premiere destination for windsurfing and kiteboarding due to the constant trade winds. The island also hosts a national bird sanctuary, nesting grounds for all four species of sea turtles found in the Caribbean and many other topside attractions. There’s plenty to do when you’re not diving

WHO IS ELIGIBLE: This course is open to anyone who is a certified Scuba Diver. You must be certified AT LEAST as an Open Water/Beginner Diver before March 2017.
