Marquette Scuba Divers make their annual New Years Day dive at one of their favorite shore dive sites in order to ensure that bragging rites, for being the first in Lake Superior, remain theirs. Pictured here are the partakers of this event from last year. The air temp is forecast to be in the single digit territory and the wind chill somewhere between 25 to 30 below, this is not an event for the feint of heart. The water however, should remain a balmy 39 degrees, give or take.
